Hip, Hip, Boo-ray!
To kick off the changing season, Harmony Day Support hosted their second-annual Fall Festival. The event was full of costumed crusaders, eager to fill their bags with candy and their hearts with laughter and fun.
We were joined by several community vendors including Travis the Balloon Guy, Southpaw from the Lynchburg City Hillcats Baseball Team, Twin J Ranch Petting Zoo, and our very own DJ Danny!
The event kicked off with hay rides around the property; accompanied by the musical stylings of DJ Danny. We then took turns Trunk-or-Treating through several of our staff vehicles. Travis contorted latex ballons in a near magical fashion; creating amazing hats, swords, tiaras, and animal friends for all who wanted their own creation.
The animals from Twin J Ranch were a delightful diversion from the event. The chickens, ponies, pigs, and turkeys were thrilled to be hand-fed by the individuals.
Every moment of this day was such a special treat for the individuals and staff alike. We can’t wait to see what next year brings!
Vines of Support: A Night to Remember
This year, Harmony Day Support hosted the first annual Vines of Support Fundraiser. We worked alongside Moyanne Harding whose keen hosting skills made the night impeccable and memorable.
The purpose of the fundraiser was to bring attention to our program and the individuals we serve. The event was flooded with amazing food, fantastic musical guests, and great times shared by attendees.
We look forward to what next year will bring and hope to see even more outpouring of love and support for Harmony Day Support.
