Happy Harmony Holidays

As the Holiday season continues, staff at Harmony have been working tirelessly to provide new and exciting opportunities for our individuals. These events included working with Humankind and the Bedford and Lynchburg Christmas Parades. We have been encouraged our individuals to demonstrate the value of community service and emphasized the importance of giving back to others.

Season's Eatings

This Thanksgiving, Harmony was able to donate 10 boxes of food items to HumanKind; a nonprofit organization which provides services to Lynchburg residents in need. Each classroom was given the task of decorating a box and packed it with love, care, and a healthy dose of carbs. With the help of some very determined and strong individuals, we loaded their tables with over 125 Ibs. of food!

Making An Impact

On November 27th, Harmony Day Support was honored by First National Bank through the employee-funded Community Impact Foundation. Harmony was recognized as one of five local nonprofit organizations who are making a difference in the community.

With this donation, we will be able to utilize the funding to provide Christmas gifts for every single one of our deserving individuals. We are so blessed to give back to our individuals and look forward seeing the smiles on their faces during our annual Christmas Party.
