Good to Grow

The weather is warming up, flowers are blooming, and the hardworking staff at Harmony saw their opportunity to do some hands-on work.

Classes banded together to repurpose used wood palettes into a raised garden bed.

This garden will be utilized to plant herbs, plants, and veggies for the individuals to use as much as they please.

We are so blessed by this project and look forward to the fruits (and veggies) of our labor!

We're on Track

This month, we were invited by Liberty University Outreach to view their indoor track and field facility. Individuals laced up and gave it their all on the course.

Speaking of racing, Harmony hosted the Puzzled Car show. This event featured dozens of muscle cars and was a great opportunity to interact with our local community. A few of the individuals were able to work the event (pictured below) and loved the live music and fun atmosphere.

Peake Performance

Advocating for the rights and growth of our individuals has been a core value for us at Harmony. We know change can occur when we partner with those who have been entrusted to support all members of our community.

Senator Mark Peake joined us to discuss the future of Harmony and gave us his wholehearted support of our expansion project. He was given a tour of our facility and stated how much he appreciated the work we have been doing here at Harmony.

We are so grateful for these opportunities to demonstrate the importance of collaboration with state administration.

"It was great to meet with their team to discuss the needs of their growing facilities.

"

-Senator Mark Peake
